Position Summary

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR department. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting credentialing requirements for Physical Therapy staff, and assisting with employee communication and reporting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process and manage employee leave paperwork (FMLA, medical leave, personal leave, etc.)

  • Track and maintain accurate records of employee leave balances and documentation

  • Prepare, generate, and distribute HR reports as requested

  • Manage and monitor credentialing requirements for Physical Therapy staff, including license renewals, certifications, compliance documentation, etc.

  • Maintain credentialing tracking to ensure all staff remain compliant with regulatory and organizational standards

  • Conduct employee outreach related to documentation, compliance, benefits, and HR updates

  • Update and maintain employee records in HRIS and other internal systems

  • Assist with onboarding documentation and employment file maintenance as needed

  • Support compliance initiatives and audits

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience preferred

  • Experience in healthcare or credentialing management is a plus

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
