What is a HUD Recertification Clerk?

HUD Recertification Clerks are administrative professionals who work with public housing authorities or property management companies to process recertifications for tenants in HUD-assisted housing programs. Their main responsibility is to collect and verify tenant information, such as income and household composition, to ensure continued eligibility for housing assistance.
