Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE:
The HRIS Manager will be responsible for managing system operations and capabilities, service delivery, and interactions with clients and vendors. This role will lead a team of HRIS professionals and will assist in the development of our technology roadmap.
The HRIS Manager will: Provide leadership, planning, and management for the service delivery of HRIS programs. Partner with HRIS leadership and Program Delivery to support and deliver technical, specialized, and complex system changes. Partner with Business, IT, and vendors in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements. Plan and manage ongoing HRIS administration. Manage systems testing to ensure the integrity of sensitive data. Contribute to HRIS strategic planning to support short and long-range Company goals.
The ideal candidate is a team leader with technical subject matter expertise in HRIS who can effectively build and manage relationships with client groups, oversee vendors, collaborate on technology projects, and manage portfolio communication.
The base salary range for this role is $125,800 - $206,650. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Manage HRIS capabilities in support of business needs and strategic vision with focus on LMS portfolios and operational support of other HRIS programs such as recruiting and onboarding.
โ€ข Partner closely with HRIS leadership and clients to support the technology roadmap, scope level of effort and plan resources required for each project. Serve as subject matter expert for systems, processes, administration, and end-user experience.
โ€ข Provide end user support, including hands-on management and team oversight in the dispositioning of system user tickets and active management of issue management and escalation in accordance with HRIS governance guidelines.
โ€ข Partner with vendors, IT, and HR leadership to identify and mitigate potential risks.
โ€ข Identify and implement best practice quality control standards to ensure highest quality operations.
Track and adhere to compliance requirements.
โ€ข Project management and initiatives:
o Act as project lead for assigned HRIS projects related to enhancements and implementations; review requirements and scope documents and identify risks.
o Evaluate operational effectiveness and develop business cases to prioritize process and system improvement initiatives.
o Manage system implementations, upgrades, and system integrations in partnership with IT and other Business Partners.
o Ensure technology solutions meet the needs of the business; collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify business requirements.
o Manage requirements definition and application design by reviewing and approving business requirements documents, functional specifications and other related documents with project sponsor; manage User Acceptance Testing.
o Identify and implement best practice quality control standards to ensure highest quality launches.
o Ensure management is fully informed of risks, issues, challenges and provide solutions.
o Provide support for development of training to system users.
o Manage and maintain relationship with external vendors and service providers.
