About Steel Tech USA

Steel Tech USA is a leading Cold Formed Steel manufacture headquartered in Lewisville, TX. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated HR & Marketing Assistant to support both our people operations and our brand presence. This is an in-office position, Mon - Friday 8 - 5pm.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the HR and Marketing Director, you will play a dual role supporting daily HR operations alongside marketing and communications initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile, detail-oriented professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a role for someone who likes to do something different every day. This is not a boring data entry job! You will also be coordinating lunches, running occasional work-related errands, and really learning how entrepreneurs' work. 

Key Responsibilities:
HR Functions: 
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment: job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination. 
  • Onboard new hires, prepare offer letters and employment documentation. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. 
  • Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes. 
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and track completion. 
  • Handle HR inquiries and escalate issues appropriately. 
  • Assist in organizing company events and recognition programs. 

Marketing Functions: 
  • Create and schedule content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and company website. 
  • Support the development of marketing materials, brochures, and presentations. 
  • Assist in writing press releases, newsletters, and internal communications. 
  • Coordinate trade show attendance, promotional materials, and sponsorships. 
  • Track marketing metrics and compile monthly performance reports. 
  • Manage company photography and media asset library. 
  • Coordinate with vendors and design agencies on campaigns.

Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, marketing, or an administrative support role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, or similar).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
