Title- Warehouse Associate
Duration- 3-month contract to permanent
Location- Geismar, LA, 70734
Shift Timings- Mon- Fri ​6:00 am- 3:00 pm. Some OT
Pay Rate- $19.00/ hr.
​Summary
  • ​Storeroom Warehouse Associate is an individual contributor positioned within a storeroom and/or a customer’s location. This role is responsible for following established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, stock and sto​re, record, and dispatch goods in a storeroom/warehouse.
  • Hours: Mon-​ Fri 6​ a​m-​ 3​ p​m, 1 hr unpaid lunch. OT on occasion.
  • Temp to hire. Pay will increase upon conversion.
  • Once converted, there will be an on call weekend rotation.
  • Will pick, pack, and get orders ready for shipment.
  • Will cross check picked orders.
  • Will use a sit-down forklift and cherry picker. Willing to train on the equipment.
  • Will assist with receiving.
  • Basic computer skills are needed.
  • Repetitive lifting of up to 50#.
  • Need someone organized with attention to detail. This is a small team that works together closely.
  • Site is not temperature-controlled; it can get hot in the summer.
  • Steel-toe shoes are required.
  • The client will provide any additional PPE.
  • Shorts with belt loops o​k.
