Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for machine assembly & wire winding. Looking for someone with great work ethic, high energy, positive attitude and very detail oriented (due to quality requirements).

  • Machine assembly (primary priority)

  • Operation of wire winding machine (secondary priority).

  • Work with engineering/manufacturing teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.

  • Consistent use of basic metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to take precise measurements.

  • Adhering to quality control directives.

  • Operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts.

  • Contributes ideas to the Relentless Continuous Improvement process.

  • Actively engage the site Safety program.

  • Is an active participant in the 5S program to maintain a work ready environment.

  • Maintains focus to our quality standards and processes.

  • Occasional overtime required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Trade school diploma in a mechanical discipline such as industrial maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics or in a related discipling -OR- 1-3 years of experience in an industrial setting.

  • 3-5 years of experience in assembly or operating industrial and/or machine tool equipment with strong attention to quality at tight tolerances preferred.

  • Prior experience using basic metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) preferred.

  • Blueprint reading, mechanical aptitude, basic machine shop skills.

  • Basic computer skills - data entry.

  • Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands.

  • Ability to lift and carry fifty pounds.

  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
