Vice President, Global Markets Communications Leader

The Global Markets Communications Leaderis responsible for shaping, governing, and scaling HP's marketfacing and internal communications across geographies to ensure strategic alignment, message consistency, and business impact. This role acts as the single point of global orchestrationbetween corporate strategy, GTM Marketing leadership, CO market teams, and communications channels, translating enterprise priorities into clear, relevant, and actionable narratives for markets while amplifying market insights back into the GTM Marketing strategy. The leader operates at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution, enabling markets to move faster and more cohesively through aligned communications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Market Communications Strategy & Governance
Owns the global communications strategy for markets, ensuring consistency of narrative, tone, and messaging across regions while allowing for local relevance. Establishes governance models, operating rhythms, and decision frameworks that align corporate objectives with market execution.

2. Executive & Leadership Communications
Partners closely with GTM and functional leadership to shape executive communications for market leaders, including priorities, strategic updates, transformations, and critical initiatives. Ensures leaders are equipped with clear, aligned messaging for their teams and external engagements.

3. Strategic Partner to CO
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer and senior leadership on messaging, positioning, and reputation management. Ensure alignment of commercial communications with corporate narrative, brand voice, and business objectives. Drive executive communications for the CCO, including speeches, presentations, media engagements, internal communications, and thought leadership platforms. Prepare the CCO for high-profile events, earnings communications, and key stakeholder interactions.

4. Market Enablement & Field Readiness
Ensures markets are enabled with the right content, narratives, and tools to execute strategy effectively. Translates corporate and GTM priorities into marketready communications, frameworks, and prereads that support decisionmaking, adoption, and execution at scale.

5. External Communications & Media Relations

Oversee global media relations related to HP's commercial business, including proactive storytelling, press engagement, and issue management. Partner with PR teams to amplify key announcements, product launches, and strategic partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier global media and industry influencers.

6. Communication Planning, Cadence & Team leadership
Defines global communication calendars, prioritization models, and quality standards to reduce noise, increase signal, and prevent overload in the markets. Ensures communications are timely, relevant, and outcomedriven. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global communications team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

The pay range for this role is$295,000to$330,000USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
