About Our Family

We are an active family of three (four if you count our dog!). Given the demands of our careers and family life, we're looking for someone who can help bring additional structure, support, and calm to our home.

We intend to offer a warm and welcoming environment where we value proactivity, reliability, and attention to detail. Our primary goal in hiring for this position is to transfer certain household responsibilities so that we can focus on work responsibilities without sacrificing the quality time we spend together as a family.

We're looking for someone who can do more than just execute tasksthey'll be a true support system for us. We need someone who can proactively create a harmonious home environment where everyone feels at ease and where things run smoothly. From managing schedules and running errands to preparing meals and helping with household items such as laundry and organizing, we need someone who can think ahead and handle these everyday duties efficiently.

Our 8.5-year-old daughter is constantly on the go with sports-related after-school activities. On the weekends, you'll find us enjoying the outdoorshiking, biking, or playing sports as a family.

Grandma joins us a few days each week, stepping in to help with the day-to-day and becoming part of the rhythm of our home, while also providing a calming presence for our daughter.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

We are seeking an organized and self-sufficient individual who can take initiative, see what needs to be done, and do it without constant direction. You are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. You are warm, approachable, and reliable, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the household.

You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and you have the skills to keep the household organized and running smoothly. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is able to manage competing priorities with ease and take ownership of tasks. While it's important to be detail-oriented, it's equally crucial that you have the flexibility to adjust when things inevitably change.

In this role, you'll become a trusted member of our household. The ideal candidate will be able to blend professionalism with warmth, creating a relationship built on trust, reliability, and respect. We need someone who will not only manage the day-to-day tasks but also step in and provide support when needed, whether that means helping with child-related errands, meal prep, or supporting travel packing.

Ultimately, our goal is to find someone who can help free up time for us to focus on our personal and professional lives, while also ensuring that our home continues to function smoothly and efficiently.
