Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our warehouse logistics team. In this role, you will support daily shipping coordination, carrier communication, and 3PL warehouse management to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time. This position will work closely with our warehouse teams, third-party logistics partners, and major carriers such as UPS and FedEx to monitor outbound shipments, resolve logistics issues, and improve delivery performance.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse logistics, parcel shipping, 3PL coordination, or carrier communication who is looking to grow in a fast-paced e-commerce and warehousing environment.
Duties
Coordinate daily shipping and carrier arrangements between company-operated warehouses and third-party logistics warehouses.
Communicate with UPS, FedEx, and other carriers to follow up on pickups, shipment status, delivery performance, and service issues.
Monitor daily outbound order volume, carrier pickup capacity, and warehouse shipping status to support efficient order fulfillment.
Assist in developing shipping allocation plans based on order volume, inventory distribution, carrier capacity, and delivery timelines.
Track and resolve logistics exceptions, including pickup delays, missed scans, delivery delays, lost packages, returns, and other shipment issues.
Maintain communication with 3PL warehouses, internal warehouse teams, carriers, and operations teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Prepare and maintain logistics reports related to shipment volume, delivery performance, exception rates, carrier performance, and logistics costs.
Support peak season and promotional period planning, including carrier capacity, backup shipping options, and contingency plans.
Assist with cross-warehouse transfers, last-mile delivery coordination, carrier invoice verification, and other logistics-related tasks.
Complete other logistics coordination and operational support duties as assigned.
Skills
Experience in warehouse logistics, 3PL operations, parcel shipping, e-commerce fulfillment, or last-mile delivery is preferred.
Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and other major U.S. carriers is preferred.
Understanding of warehouse outbound shipping processes, order fulfillment, and carrier pickup coordination.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to logistics exceptions and follow through until resolution.
Ability to track and analyze basic logistics data, including shipment volume, delivery performance, exception rates, and shipping costs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for basic reporting and data tracking.
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with warehouses, 3PL partners, carriers, and internal teams.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
