Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive pelvic health evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Treat patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, sexual dysfunction, constipation, diastasis recti, and related diagnoses.

  • Utilize evidence-based manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, patient education, and behavioral strategies.

  • Educate patients on anatomy, body mechanics, self-management techniques, and home exercise programs.

  • Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers regarding patient progress and plan of care.

  • Complete timely and compliant documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.

  • Maintain patient schedules and promote adherence to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.

  • Support clinic growth through relationship-building with referral sources and community education opportunities.

  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Required Skills
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Current Indiana Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain)

  • Specialized training in pelvic health/pelvic floor rehabilitation

  • Experience treating pelvic floor dysfunction in an outpatient setting preferred

  • Strong manual therapy and patient communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and exceptional patient care

  • Desire to grow and expand pelvic health services within the community

    Preferred Qualifications
    • 1+ years of pelvic health clinical experience.

    • Completion of pelvic floor continuing education coursework through APTA, Herman & Wallace, Evidence in Motion, or equivalent programs.

    • Experience treating prenatal and postpartum populations.

    • Desire to learn Vestibular (it is in our name!)

    • Dry needling certification or additional specialty certifications are a plus.
