What We Offer
Be Part of Something New in Bluffton!
Novant Health is expanding! We are seeking ED Techs for our brand-new, 11-bed Freestanding Emergency Department opening this May in Bluffton, SC. We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals to help us expand access to world-class emergency care in the heart of the Lowcountry.
Address: 8 Parkside Ave, Bluffton, SC
Float requirement: Staff will float between the Bluffton Freestanding ED and Novant Health Hilton Head Medical Center
Shift: Day (7am-7pm) and Night (7pm-7am) shifts available
Status: Full Time - Weekend and holiday rotation required
What You'll Do
Duties:
  • Obtain and record vital signs and report abnormal findings.
  • Monitor patient status and cardiac rhythms, alerting RNs to any acute changes in condition.
  • Stock and organize trauma bays and exam rooms with essential medical supplies.
  • A variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
  • Responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience: Prefer at least one year Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. Performs other duties as assigned.
    Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications.
  • Licensure/Certification: CNA I is required
