As a Clinical Care Partner in our Extended Care Clinic, you’ll be the trusted connection between patients and providers—ensuring every visit is seamless, supported, and personal.Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time.

  • Schedule: Full Time, Days 7:00am - 7:00pm

  • Department: Novant Health Extended Care

  • Location: Clemmons, NC - Tanglewood

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians

  • Supporting rooming, vital signes and patient preparation

  • Maintaining a safe and clean care environment

While CNA I and CNA II professionals can work under the license of a physician or advanced practice provider (APP), per North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements, they must:

  • Complete a minimum of 8 hours every 24 months of direct supervision by a registered nurse (RN) employed at the clinic

  • Or make arrangements to complete this requirement at a sister Novant Health Medical Group (NHMG) clinic location

What We're Looking For

Education: High School or GED requiared.

Experience:

  • Two years preferred. Acute experience for CNA 1.

  • One year preferred - CNA2 or EMT

  • One year preferred - Experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year.

Licensure/Certification: (required):

  • NA I in good standing within the NA registry; OR

  • NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OR

  • EMT current credential in appropriate state; OR

  • One year clinical (medical) office experience; OR

  • Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year

Additional Skills/Requirements (required):

  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.

  • Basic computer skills for documentation
