What We Offer

Join the Skilled Nursing Facility team at Community Hospital of Stokes , where Certified Nursing Assistants play an important role in providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents. As a CNA, you’ll work closely with nurses and other members of the care team to support daily living needs, promote comfort and dignity, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Facility: Community Hospital of Stokes | Location: Danbury, NC | Position Type: Part-Time | Work Schedule: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Weekend Night Shift

What You'll Do

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and other routine needs

  • Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident comfort, privacy, and dignity

  • Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition or status to the nursing team

  • Document care and assistance provided according to established procedures

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents

  • Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse

  • Collaborate with the care team to support each resident’s individualized plan of care

What We're Looking For

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED, required.

  • Experience : 1 year of experiece in Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.

  • Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required.

  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.

  • Medication Safety - AME, required.

  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

  • Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
