Job description

Lumen Christi Catholic School is seeking a Front Office Coordinator. This is a full time (44 weeks), non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Director of Office Operations.
Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Office Operations, this individual will be responsible for providing excellent support to students, families, visitors and staff in line with our Catholic values.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily student attendance reporting.
  • Maintain and update student records in the school information system.
  • Keeps a log of all visitors to the school as they check in and out of the office.
  • Administer student medications in accordance with school policy and maintain accurate medication logs, records and forms.
  • Report weekly to the Jackson County Health Department on student illnesses.
  • Provide backup support for the TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) program.
  • Greet guests and answer the phone in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Shared office duties such as, but not limited to, sorting mail, office supply inventory, LC Fan Shop, and used uniform organization and sales.
  • May be asked to occasionally run errands
  • Provide support for after hours events such as the back to school open house and parent teacher conferences.

Requirements:
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and lift and carry items.

Employment Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years similar job experience
  • Successful completion and results of a criminal background check
  • Completion of VIRTUS training
  • Possession of a valid Michigan drivers license
