Location: Alpharetta, GA Salary: $50.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly Description:
This position is for IT system and this role primarily is responsible for DevOps engineer for a mission critical application.
The work you will be doing will be part of the team who is responsible for leading large and complex business initiatives and delivering best in class customer experience.
Responsible for DevOps functions for multiple projects for enterprise releases and maintenance releases.
You will follow Agile methodology and ensure Security compliance with enterprise standards.
Monitor security vulnerability reports and Track fixes for reported issues.
Responsibilities: Configure and maintain application servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability and security.
Independently analyze, solve and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Work on Digital Transformation and modernize the application based on new technologies. Experience in working with very complex system using micro services architecture using large databases. Effective communication skills
MUST HAVE SKILLS: 6 years of Experience microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.
6 years of Cloud and Database (with Oracle Cloud a BIG plus).
3 years of Experience in working with Kubernetes, managing Kubernetes cluster, Docker, and containerization technologies.
3 years of Experience with working in a Cloud environment and Oracle cloud is preferable.
Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven development culture
3 years of Experience with Tomcat.
3 years of Experience with Linux/Unix.
3 years of Experience with Cloud and DevOps tools (GIT/Stash, Fortify, Jenkins, etc).
Good working Knowledge of Oracle Database including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries
Exposure to AI tools . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Time management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed, to collaborate and work with multiple teams.
DESIRED SKILLS: Working knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ
Working knowledge of JSON, Camel
Working knowledge of APIGEE
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in computer science or similar. 10+ years of Application Development and Technology Experience
