What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead daily sand and gravel plant and pit operations to achieve production, safety, and quality targets
  • Coordinate crews, mobile equipment (loaders, haul trucks), and processing plants (crushers, screens) to optimize throughput
  • Inspect operations and address issues impacting efficiency, product quality, or compliance
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and drive a strong safety culture
  • Partner with maintenance and management to plan work, control costs, and meet shipping schedules

What Are We Looking For
  • Proven ability to lead field teams and deliver results in aggregate or similar industrial operations
  • Working knowledge of crushing, screening, washing, and material handling processes
  • Strong commitment to safety leadership and regulatory compliance (MSHA/OSHA alignment)
  • Effective communicator with sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, adapt to changing demands, and manage multiple activities

Work Environment
This role is based in an outdoor sand and gravel pit and plant environment with exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions. Work requires frequent walking, climbing, and interaction with mobile and stationary equipment while following strict safety standards.
