SUMMARY 
The Logistics Analyst is an integral role in the Supply Chain organization, with dual responsibility to act as the primary customer service representative for our family of breweries interfacing with multiple wholesalers, and as a logistics analyst working internally with multiple sales divisions. The Logistics Analyst will oversee supply chain processes and product delivery by tracking and reviewing invoices, shipment status, and delivery route activity. Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, inventory management and prior customer service experience is required. 
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Review and manage order fulfillment of monthly beer orders from wholesaler customers
  • Monitor internal inventory volumes and availability on a regular basis. This can include finished goods and raw materials
  • Proactively identify and address situations where shipments may be delayed or affected by inventory levels
  • Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory and shipment vehicles
  • Provide proactive and regular updates to customers regarding the status of their orders
  • Monitor distributor inventory levels and availability on a regular basis and as required to make shipment adjustments and decisions
  • Maintains database(s) system of record for inventory and order fulfillment
  • Work with OTR/intermodal freight carrier(s) to arrange transportation of goods from brewery warehouse(s) to wholesaler warehouse(s)
  • Obtain spot quotes from freight carriers for FTL/LTL shipments through internal logistics channels (as needed)
  • Work with distributors and third-party service provider to ensure timely and efficient dunnage returns
  • Calculate and ensure that appropriate freight charges are billed to the customer
  • Identify team process improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)
  • Work closely with Warehouse team to facilitate operational efficiency
  • Work closely with Duvel USA Sales team to facilitate sales execution and ensure customer service is satisfactory
  • Work closely with Production teams for all breweries to ensure production planning meets needs
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and exemplify customer service best practices
  • Performs other related duties and project work, as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Previous experience working in logistics management, or a supply chain management role is required
  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience in inventory forecasting and management
  • Experience in warehouse shipping/receiving, and general freight
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong ability to multi-task, and superior attention to detail
  • Work under the guidance of team leader and alongside other team members to ensure that organizational goals are met
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited direction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
