Excel Equipment, Virginia's premier CASE construction equipment dealer, is searching for an experienced Heavy Equipment Parts Counter Representative to join our team in Roanoke, VA.
If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
  • Heavy equipment parts counter experience OR - Experience with truck, diesel, car, motorcycle, or military vehicle parts or mechanical repair OR - A technical school degree in heavy equipment repair
  • Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
  • Wholesale distributor experience is a big plus but not required

Essential duties/responsibilities:
Work closely with our customers offering counter and telephone customer support and works closely with our Service department. Knowledgeable on all makes of equipment parts and able to resource and inventory as needed. We are an all-makes equipment dealership.
  • Able to manage a fast-paced work environment of parts calls and counter sales support for our customers. Engaging our customers and communicating a solution. Upselling accessories or other parts that support the solution.
  • Must work closely with our service department and technicians to procure the right part.
  • Able to support our service department to develop quotes for our customers repairs.
  • Understands our inventory system for parts and is able to pull orders as needed.
  • Familiar with all makes of truck parts and able to generally diagnose a need for our customers.
  • Computer experience is important.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
  • Able to embrace our Safety culture and policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
