Our team is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment & Truck Mechanic to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will perform heavy equipment, small, medium, and large truck repair, and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards. This would include but not limited to running diagnostics on equipment, work closely with other team members to meet company goals, and ensure uptime of production equipment is acheived. Our equipment consists of Caterpillar, Komatsu, Ford, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Komptech, Vermeer, Tigercat, Freightliner, Bobcat, Sennebogen, Rotochopper, Vector, and Volvo. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment including inspection and preventative maintenance repairs
  • Maintain parts inventory, cleanliness in the shop and service vehicles
  • Collaborate with maintenance team to diagnose problems with vehicles, plan, and make repairs
  • Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks and heavy equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles using our computerized maintenance management system
  • High school or GED equivalent (Preferred)
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • Welding experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent reading and writing skills
  • ASE Diesel Certification is an asset
