Job Title:

Maintenance Mechanic

Reports to:

Production Manager

General Description:

Perform general tasks related to upkeep of machines and facilities.

Responsibilities: (100%)

  • Wire/repair electrical equipment including PLCs
  • Execute plumbing tasks
  • Repair air compressors/pneumatic equipment
  • Perform carpentry
  • Maintain building equipment (e.g., air conditioner, boilers, ventilating fan, forklift truck
  • Maintain machinery (CNC Swiss & Mill-Turn Lathes, Manual Mills/Lathes, CNC Mill, and stamping, wire forming, slide and press equipment)
  • Fabricate parts for new, existing machinery
  • Perform & record preventive maintenance as scheduled
  • Safety
    • Lead Safety Committee
    • Oversee compliance with applicable government safety regulations, including OSHA standards
  • Train Maintenance Apprentice
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent, electrical, plumbing, mechanical knowledge
  • 5-10 years' experience in general maintenance
  • Certifications & Education to do electrical work
