Job description

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced CNC Wire Form Setup Technician to support wire form and spring manufacturing operations through machine setup, programming, quality control, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in CNC wire forming equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and optimize CNC wire forming and spring manufacturing equipment.
  • Create, edit, and adjust machine programs to ensure production efficiency and product quality.
  • Troubleshoot machine and production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and machine adjustments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with required tolerances.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and inspection records.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, welding, grinding, and other production teams to ensure efficient workflow and product quality.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience setting up CNC wire forming machines.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical manufacturing duties.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the spring manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with Itaya, MEC, or similar CNC wire forming equipment.
  • Knowledge of wire form and spring production processes.
