CNC Press Brake Operator TRUMPF | $20-$28 Hourly| Monday- Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

Job Description:
As a CNC Press Brake Operator (TRUMPF) you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled press brake machines to form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Key duties include machine setup, programming, monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality control by using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet standards
 
Responsibilities:
  • Machine operation: Operate TRUMPF CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal parts based on production requirements.
  • Programming and setup: Program machines with correct settings, perform basic setups, and input information into the CNC controller.
  • Quality assurance: Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure parts conform to standards. Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to check finished parts.
  • Monitoring: Monitor machine operation during runs, detect malfunctions, and address any issues that arise.
  • Maintenance: Perform basic mechanical adjustments and assist with routine maintenance.
  • Documentation: Fill out production paperwork, quality and timekeeping records, and properly tag parts for traceability. 
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience running a TRUMPF CNC press brake machines High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Accurately fills out tags to identify parts produced, ensuring proper identification and traceability.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in control language and computer functions required for setting up, operating, and adjusting the press brake.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication and sheet metal forming processes.
  • Troubleshoots and solves basic problems, including alarm editing.
  • Performs basic setups for noncomplex bends.
  • Reads blueprints to determine required characteristics for monitoring.
  • Monitors equipment calibration within their department

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $20.00-$28.00 hourly not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
