Location: Riverside, MO

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay:

$26-$30

per hour based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join a manufacturing team in Riverside, MO. This position will be responsible for fabricating and forming stainless steel components used in the production of precision industrial machinery.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with metal fabrication, CNC equipment, press brakes, blueprint reading, precision measurement, and fabrication mathematics. Candidates should be comfortable working with stainless steel and operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manufacturing and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently

  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and technical documents

  • Fabricate stainless steel components according to specifications and quality standards

  • Perform accurate measurements using:- Tape measures

    • Calipers
    • Machinist squares
    • Protractors
    • Other precision measuring tools
  • Calculate and verify dimensions, bend allowances, angles, and material requirements

  • Set up and operate press brakes from various manufacturers

  • Select and install the appropriate punches based on required bend radius

  • Select and install dies based on material thickness

  • Download existing programs or program press brake controllers as needed

  • Program press brake steps using tonnage, angle, and absolute-position modes

  • Operate CNC laser cutting equipment and other fabrication machinery

  • Inspect finished components to ensure proper dimensions, fit, and quality

  • Troubleshoot fabrication and equipment issues and assist with identifying solutions

  • Communicate production issues or potential problems to the lead or supervisor

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and report maintenance needs

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures

  • Meet established production and quality standards

  • Look for opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and individual performance

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of metal fabrication experience
  • CNC fabrication experience required
  • Press brake experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with stainless steel preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of fabrication mathematics
  • Experience using precision measuring tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to learn new equipment, processes, and technology quickly
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when production demands require
