Job description

Manage all administrative elements of clinical activities of the Paramedic Science program; including related scheduling management and ensuring coordination with affiliate clinical agencies and locations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Effectively deliver clinical supervision or other program-specific responsibilities.
  • Schedule student clinicals and activities with the Paramedic Sciences affiliates.
  • Collect and organize student shot records, criminal background documents, physical exams, and other student clinical documentation.
  • Maintain student clinical records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required.
  • Communicate with the faculty concerning the needs of the Paramedic Science clinical programs.
  • Review and develop clinical curriculum in compliance with accreditation and State EMS guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all College policies.
  • Ensure applicable program accreditation policies are followed
  • Participate in the accreditation and assessment process.
  • Adhere to all COAEMSP requirements to maintain accreditation

HOURLY RATE: $21.00-$24.00

WEEKLY HOURS: 15-25 Hours Per Week

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Has two years of related work experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable to drive campus vehicles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An associate's degree or Higher in related field
  • Hold and Indiana Paramedic License
  • Hold an Indiana Department of Homeland Security Primary Instructor certification
  • AHA Instructor qualification in BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • NAEMT Instructor qualification - PHTLS, AMLS, TECC
  • Indiana EVOC instructor or equivalent
