Abonmarche is seeking a Project Manager in our Fort Wayne, IN office.

Responsibilities & Duties:

The Project Manager is responsible for being the clients project champion and partner at Abonmarche and ensuring the Clients goals and schedules are met while coordinating with Abonmarche staff and schedules in a profitable manner.

  • Prepares proposals, contracts, and subcontracts
  • Establishes project deadlines and tracks progress and follow up on all aspects of a project (deadline, permits, etc.) as well as provides weekly and/or monthly status reports
  • Leads kick off meetings, progress meetings, and client meetings
  • Works with Business Development to identify, evaluate and pursue opportunities
  • Works with team members as well as other technical staff to establish team roles, project schedule, and budget for new projects
  • Monitors project budgets and scope of work  
  • Reviews plans, reports and other work product to confirm that they meet the clients needs

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering
  • Experience in a project manager role for any of the following types of projects is preferred: municipal, roadway reconstruction, sanitary sewers, water mains, storm sewers, trails, traffic signals, site design for residential, commercial, educational, and industrial projects
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs
