About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our growing engineering team. This position will support the planning, design, and production of civil engineering projects including land development, transportation, municipal infrastructure, and utility improvements.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and proficient in CAD software. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design.
  • Support project engineers with design calculations and technical documentation.
  • Prepare plans, exhibits, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, project managers, and clients.
  • Conduct field visits and assist with data collection as needed.
  • Maintain project files and ensure adherence to company drafting standards.
  • Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic design of stormwater drainage systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering design principles and industry standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
