Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Complex Marketing Communications Coordinator will assist in implementing the day-to-day integrated marketing strategy for hotels. This includes, but is not limited to, media opportunities, print and digital advertising campaigns, public relations efforts, and social media messaging.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain current information on OH.com (property details, dining menus, meeting details, etc.).
  • Upload city and hotel events and activities to Trumba on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate the execution of monthly email campaigns.
  • Update CVENT with the most accurate and up-to-date information (need dates, meeting offers, photos, etc.).
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns across all communication channels.
  • Ensure each marketing project progresses successfully through the campaign cycle while tracking ROI.
  • Maintain and update the social media content calendar and monthly marketing calendars; implement daily content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to grow engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews (TripAdvisor, Yelp, Expedia, Hotels.com, Google, etc.).
  • Manage, organize, and inventory all marketing assets, including photos, videos, press packets, and printed sales/marketing collateral.
  • Ensure consistency in published content across all hotel and outlet listings; proofread and approve for accuracy.
  • Participate in Omni brand training and development sessions.
  • Ensure the Omni Hotels & Resorts brand image and standards are upheld at the property level.
  • Supervise and support the production of marketing materials, promotional content, and internal communications.
  • Oversee and assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with monthly invoice processing to ensure prompt and accurate vendor payments.
  • Assist in coordinating with all vendors, including photographers, graphic designers, videographers, media partners, and app/website development agencies.
  • Support the development and management of the annual local marketing budget and strategic planning process.
  • Meet regularly with the Director of Sales & Marketing to stay informed of evolving business needs; help develop tactical solutions to address hotel revenue opportunities and key need dates.
  • Plan, research, and coordinate print and digital advertising placements with approved Omni Hotels & Resorts vendors.
  • Coordinate monthly hotel marketing meetings with key department stakeholders (Spa Director, F&B Director, etc.).
  • Liaise with the Omni PR firm as needed to maintain relationships with local, regional, national, and international media; ensure media databases are kept up to date.
  • Review and approve all hotel press releases for accuracy and branding compliance.
  • Evaluate social media and promotional opportunities; assist in developing promotions and partnerships to support marketing and revenue objectives.
  • Develop, coordinate, and promote special events to increase brand awareness and drive revenue.
  • Manage and assess incoming requests for on-property filming, including the development of a location fee schedule and evaluation of potential value.
  • Assist in managing immediate public relations situations in coordination with corporate PR.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• College degree or equivalent experience in marketing within the hospitality industry
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Project management experience and effective time management skills
• Familiarity with various marketing platforms and channels, including social media, print campaigns, digital marketing and promotions
• Experience working collaboratively across departments to achieve marketing
