As the Sales Manager at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, you report directly to the Director of Sales as a revenue producer and the central operational bridge for our group accounts. In this role, you focus your efforts on leading and cultivating relationships within our mid-market segments-including corporate meetings, associations, weddings, and sports teams-while actively supporting all sales efforts across the entire department. You will drive sales for our full product suite, including meeting rooms, banquet spaces, group blocks, catering/F&B, and special events, while honoring strict department SLAs. Through precise property site tours, hands-on day-of support, and seamless cross-departmental alignment, you play a direct role in shaping our brand reputation and ensuring every group experiences our core promise: To provide an Exceptional Entertainment Experience for every guest - every time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Full-Lifecycle Segment Sales: Drive department volume by prospecting, qualifying, and closing group contracts for meeting rooms, banquet spaces, group blocks, catering/F&B, and special events using outbound cold calling, digital response, and local networking.
  • Department-Wide Sales Support: Provide versatile, active support across all types and tiers of sales, assisting with property-wide initiatives, general lead pipeline demands, coordination and execution of all accounts under the direction of the Director of Sales.
  • Brand Promise Stewardship: Deliver our core brand promise-To provide an Exceptional Entertainment Experience for every guest - every time-by serving as an attentive, highly responsive partner from initial proposal to post-event reflection.
  • Timely Contract Customization: Own the generation of standard group agreements, customizing package menus and pricing grids within strict department Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to protect property margins and client turnaround times.
  • Dynamic Property Site Tours: Host engaging and informative property tours for prospective clients, creatively showcasing our banquet venues, meeting space capabilities, hotel layouts, and property amenities to secure bookings.
  • End-to-End Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner actively across the property-including Food & Beverage, Marketing & Entertainment, IT, Security, and hotel division teams-from the initial proposal stage to final event operations, ensuring agreements match available property resources.
  • Weekly BEO & Menu Detailing: Lead the preparation, writing, and updating of detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and customized catering menus, while facilitating the weekly cross-departmental BEO review meetings.
  • Immersive On-Site Presence & Integration: Serve as a supportive, live on-site resource during event days to welcome arriving contacts and audit room blocks, while collaborating with gaming, hotel divisions team, and F&B outlets to accommodate guests outside of scheduled event hours.
  • Post-Event Reconciliation & Retention: Review final group billing alongside the client to verify accuracy, gather feedback on their overall experience, and secure immediate re-bookings for future years to protect long-term property loyalty.
  • Database Stewardship: Maintain an immaculate, up-to-date sales database by cleanly logging client touchpoints, maintaining profile data cleanliness, and tracking team trace dates to keep the entire department aligned.

Requirements
Education and Experience :
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or related field. An additional two (2) years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Three (3) years of active sales management experience within the hospitality, hotel, or casino industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual group room-night, banquet, and catering revenue targets.
  • Experience in contract preparation, menu detailing, and collaborative event planning.

Skills and Abilities :
  • Outbound Lead Generation: Skill in proactive prospecting, cold calling, and professional networking to build a robust pipeline of group and event leads.
  • Contract Negotiation: Ability to confidently navigate and close group contracts for meeting rooms, banquet spaces, catering, and room blocks.
  • CRM Database Management: Proficiency in maintaining clean client profiles, logging touchpoints, and tracking team trace dates in a sales database.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Skill in collaborating with diverse departments like Food & Beverage, IT, Security, and Marketing to coordinate event operations.
  • Financial Literacy: Ability to accurately customize pricing grids, protect profit margins, and audit complex post-event billing alongside clients.
  • Event Planning & Documentation: Proficiency in writing, detailing, and updating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and creating customized catering menus.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, manage client feedback, and build long-term loyalty to secure immediate re-bookings.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
