Job description

Mission Bay RV Resort is a destination RV resort. Located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego, we collectively occupy 76 prime acres on Mission Bay just east of Crown Point.ย 

We seek friendly and patient people who know their way around a desktop computer, Windows 10 and prior experience with heavy inbound calls. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a hotel reservation call center or as a front desk clerk in a hotel setting, outstanding attendance, thick skin, a ton of patience, successful interactions with guests and potential guests in person and over the phone, problem-solving skills, and quickly able to pick up the reservations software. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.ย 

Core tasking when assigned to the registration desk:

  • Check-in guests just like at a hotel front desk
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns or complaints
  • Use our reservations software to check-in guests, accept or verify payment, modify reservations, etc.
  • Keep the front desk supplied with the documents all guests receive when they check-in
  • Appear to work on time and reliably - good attendance is essential
  • Use the phone and radio to contact guest relations, security or maintenance team members; registration employees work closely with these departments to ensure our guests have such a great stay they will book with us again

Core tasking when assigned to reservations:

  • Answer calls to create new reservations, modify existing reservations or cancel reservations via our reservation software
  • Take credit card payments and process other credit card transactions.
  • Type detailed notes because the reservation made or modified now may be for a stay up to two years in the future
  • This is 100 percent telephone work although our team members interact with each other in person
  • Appear to work on time and reliably - good attendance is essential

Requires patience, attention to detail, organization, type at least 30 wmp, intermediate PC experience, accuracy, adherence to reservations policies and procedures, high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a front desk agent or using hotel/motel reservations software is a plus.

Compensation includes paid sick time, company insurance and paid vacation. Employees are welcome to enjoy the resort during their off-time.
