The Hotel Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of hotel operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a high-performance, people-first culture. This role provides day-to-day leadership for the property, ensuring operational excellence financial performance, and alignment with Makereadyโ€™s brand standards and values. Serving as a key partner to the Managing Director, the Hotel Manager drives accountability across department leadership, oversees guest satisfaction initiatives, and leads strategic priorities including capital projects, service recovery, and continuous improvement efforts.


Requested Tasks

  • Lead, develop, and hold department leaders accountable to performance, service, and operational standards.

  • Foster a collaborative, engaged, and hospitality-driven culture for all team members.

  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader for both guests and team members.

Requested Capabilities

  • Minimum of 5โ€“7 years of progressive hotel operations leadership experience, with prior experience as a Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or equivalent role preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing leadership teams in a hospitality environment.

  • Strong operational knowledge across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Guest Services.

  • Demonstrated experience managing hotel budgets, financial performance, and capital projects.

  • Track record of driving guest satisfaction, service recovery, and brand standards.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while balancing strategic priorities.

  • Experience working with lifestyle, boutique, or independent hotel brands preferred.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
