Job description

JSK Hospitality is looking for an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our Homewood Suites location in South Bend. You’ll own the full operation — guest experience, team leadership, brand standards, and P amp;L results — while building a culture that people actually want to be part of. If you know how to run a select-service hotel, develop people, and hit the numbers without burning out the team, we want to talk.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall hotel operations to deliver consistent guest satisfaction scores and brand standards
  • Own the P amp;L: drive revenue, control costs, and hit budgeted profit goals
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop department heads and associates
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety across the property
  • Manage labor, scheduling, and productivity while maintaining service levels
  • Partner with sales and revenue management to maximize occupancy and ADR
  • Handle guest issues and recovery with ownership and professionalism
  • Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, local regulations, and company policies
  • Build a positive, accountable team culture focused on service and results
  • Report regularly to regional leadership on performance, challenges, and opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hotel management experience, with at least 1–2 years as General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a select-service or extended-stay property
  • Proven track record of managing P amp;L and improving guest satisfaction scores
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience developing teams
  • Working knowledge of Marriott systems and brand standards preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally for training or meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Residence Inn or Marriott select-service experience
  • Revenue management or sales background
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Benefits amp; Perks

  • Competitive base salary + performance bonus
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Employee hotel discounts across the JSK portfolio and Marriott network
  • Career growth opportunities across a growing multi-property company
  • Supportive leadership that values results and people

About Us: JSK Hospitality is a South Bend, Indiana-based hotel management, investment, and development company operating Marriott, Hilton, and IHG branded properties. We focus on strong operations, guest service excellence, and building long-term careers for people who want to grow with us.
