Traveling TIG Welder

$27.00/hr During Training; $35.10/hr Upon Successful Completion of Training & Union Affiliation
Per Diem + Paid Travel
Based in St. Cloud, MN - 60% Travel

Are you an experienced TIG welder looking for more than a shop job? This is an opportunity to travel the country, work in power plants and power generation facilities, and build specialized skills while earning strong pay, per diem, and fully covered travel expenses.
What You'll Do
  • Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and steel
  • Complete horizontal and vertical aluminum pipe welding
  • Inspect, maintain, and install electrical bus duct systems
  • Read blueprints and follow detailed procedures
  • Work safely in industrial and power generation environments
  • Travel to projects across the U.S. (approximately 60%)

  • Real ID or Passport (required)
  • OSHA 10
Additional Requirements
  • Pass background check, drug screen (including marijuana), DOT physical, and pre-placement exam
  • Ability to obtain access credentials for nuclear power facilities
