Overview
We're seeking an Event Planning Manager with creative and detail-oriented expertise to join our resort events team! In this Event Planning Manager role, you will coordinate all aspects of resort events, from initial planning to execution, ensuring an unforgettable guest experience. The Event Planning Manager acts as a liaison between customers and resort sales personnel, providing direction and supervision during meeting and banquet event execution. Available to event customers during resort functions to solve problems and suggest alternatives to previous arrangements. Directly serve group and catering customers by managing group room blocks, food and beverage coordination, meeting space logistics, and billing processes. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel/resort event sales experience
  • 1-year food and beverage experience
  • Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
  • Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems (such as hotel event management software)
