Hospitality & Events Manager

Location: New York, NY (Full-Time, Onsite)

Salary: $114,000 โ€“ $145,000

Position Overview

Our client, a full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Hospitality & Events Manager to oversee hospitality services, conference center operations, and event planning for its New York City office. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional client, visitor, and employee experience while ensuring the seamless execution of meetings, events, catering, and workplace hospitality services.


Responsibilities

Event Planning & Management

  • Plan and execute onsite and offsite corporate events, meetings, and client functions.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including catering, beverage service, rentals, florals, and vendor coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and reconcile costs.
  • Communicate event details and updates to stakeholders and event hosts.
  • Ensure a seamless guest experience from planning through execution.

Conference Center Operations

  • Oversee conference room scheduling and event requests.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure all audiovisual and technology needs are met.
  • Maintain quality standards for meeting spaces, including room setup, cleanliness, amenities, and functionality.
  • Handle last-minute meeting and event requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure hospitality spaces, lounges, and common areas remain organized, stocked, and guest-ready.

Hospitality & Guest Services

  • Manage food and beverage programs, including inventory of refreshments and hospitality supplies.
  • Foster a welcoming, client-focused office environment.
  • Coordinate with building management and security regarding events, deliveries, and visitor access.
  • Supervise reception staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure consistent front-desk coverage and a high-quality visitor experience.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience in hospitality, event planning, or workplace experience, within a law firm environment.
  • Experience planning and executing high-end corporate events.
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with conference room technology and audiovisual systems preferred.
  • Flexibility to support occasional early morning or evening events.
