    The Host Person is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive first impression for guests at Wynn Las Vegas. This role manages reservations, guest flow, and seating while delivering friendly, efficient, and attentive service consistent with Wynn’s service standards.

    The Host Person serves as the first and last point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience through professional communication, strong organization, and a guest-first mindset.

    Key Responsibilities

    Guest Experience & First Impressions

    • Greet all guests warmly with eye contact and a friendly, engaging demeanor
    • Maintain a professional, upbeat presence in all guest interactions
    • Provide accurate information regarding menu offerings, wait times, and restaurant amenities
    • Thank and invite guests to return, creating a lasting positive impression

    Seating & Reservations Management

    • Manage the guest seating process to ensure efficient table turns and balanced service flow
    • Maintain accurate waitlists and provide realistic wait times
    • Coordinate reservations, large-party bookings, and special seating requests
    • Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding guest flow and table status

    Communication & Coordination

    • Act as a liaison between guests and restaurant team members, relaying feedback or service needs
    • Communicate guest preferences, special occasions, or VIP notes to service and management teams
    • Support front-of-house operations through clear, timely communication

    Guest Support & Service Recovery

    • Assist guests with special requests, inquiries, and directions to other property amenities
    • Address guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues as needed

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
    • Ensure menus, signage, and reservation systems are accurate and up to date
    • Complete opening, closing, and shift-related checklists
    • Attend pre-shift meetings and training sessions to stay informed of daily priorities

    Compliance & Brand Standards

    • Adhere to Wynn grooming, uniform, and presentation standards at all times
    • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
    • Execute all responsibilities in accordance with Wynn policies and departmental procedures
    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience in a host, restaurant, or guest service role preferred
    • Experience in hospitality or high-volume casual dining environments a plus
    • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
