Summary

The Product Development Project Manager – Hospitality will be responsible for shaping and sourcing product development for hospitality based on the customers’ expectations and in alignment with our brand standards. While our internal project managers are customer-facing and managing the relationships with our customers, the Product Development Project Manager – Hospitality manages the vendor relationships by providing detailed technical specifications, artwork, and product documentation to support production and vendor execution.

This role requires technical aptitude with the ability to adjust renderings using Photoshop and related programs in order to illustrate the dimensions, aesthetics, and materials required from the vendors to ensure accuracy and successful execution of the product for hospitality. This role utilizes PLM to track the status of product development and eliminate roadblocks throughout the product lifecycle. This role operates as a liaison between our overseas partners and the internal product development team. The Product Development Project Manager - Hospitality responsibilities cover the full product lifecycle, from customer concept through execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards, operational goals, and customer expectations, while maintaining alliance to the residential side of the business.

  • Create and manage detailed technical specifications, artwork, and product documentation to support production and vendor execution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas partners
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure accurate execution of product design, and execute prototypes, ensure quality control, packaging, and technical requirements
  • Review and refine product concepts to ensure alignment with brand standards, cost targets, quality expectations, and market competitiveness
  • Maintain a strong understanding of brand aesthetics and ensure consistency across all product categories and collections
  • Ensure compliance with trademark, copyright, and brand usage guidelines across all product development initiatives
  • Manage multiple hospitality projects simultaneously, each at varying stages from concept through production and final delivery
  • Build, maintain, and actively manage detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution
  • Drive projects forward with a strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and delays while implementing effective solutions
  • Ensure projects meet established deadlines, quality standards, budget considerations, and customer expectations
  • Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle for hospitality product lines, from trend research and concept development to final production and launch
  • Oversee product quote sheets, line sheets, and ongoing project updates to maintain visibility and organization across development stages
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution and alignment across all phases of development

  • Minimum 5 years product development and project management experience required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with strong prioritization and time management skills. Project management experience

  • Solid understanding of project lifecycles, production timelines, and supply chain processes from concept through final delivery

  • Ability to work independently while providing clear, consistent updates to leadership on project status, risks, and key milestones
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with internal teams, overseas vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify challenges, navigate obstacles, and implement solutions while maintaining positive working relationships
