Job description

Job Description Our client, a full-service law firm in midtown NYC, is seeking a dynamic, client-focused Lounge Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-end corporate lounge in our New York City office. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming hospitality experience while ensuring seamless operational execution, exceptional service standards, and efficient bar and lounge management. This is a highly visible, front-facing role requiring strong leadership, flexibility, and a hospitality-first mindset.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable balancing operational management with hands-on guest engagement. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day lounge operations to ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, stock monitoring, and regular audits Oversee budget management, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency Maintain compliance with all applicable alcohol service laws and safety standards Ensure a safe, welcoming, and service-oriented environment for all guests Develop and rotate seasonal beverage offerings and featured menu items Hire, train, and supervise bar and lounge staff Establish and enforce service standards and operational procedures Provide exceptional, white-glove service to internal stakeholders and external guests Support administrative and operational needs related to lounge programming and events Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of hospitality management experience Experience in inventory management, ordering, and supplier coordination Background in safe food handling and beverage service compliance Proven experience hiring, training, and managing frontline hospitality staff Strong communication skills and a polished, client-facing presence Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and event coverage as needed Additional Details Salary range: $85,000 - $106,000 Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, with additional in-office/event coverage as needed This role is fully front facing with significant interaction with attorneys, staff, clients, and guests Flexibility is essential, as event volume may require additional in-office days or evening coverage
