Job description

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving ClerkJob Description

This role supports production and logistics operations by accurately handling incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining in-process inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized work area. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk pulls and verifies materials and supplies for production orders, prepares products for clients, and helps keep the flow of materials efficient and reliable across the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Pull and verify materials and supplies according to production orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and opening products as needed for clients.
  • Perform shipping activities, including preparing, labeling, and organizing outbound materials and products.
  • Handle receiving tasks by unloading, checking, and documenting incoming materials and supplies.
  • Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records and identify discrepancies.
  • Keep loading areas, workstations, and related machinery clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
  • Follow established procedures for material handling to support safe and efficient production operations.
  • Assist with general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment as needed to support overall workflow.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
