The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a skilled Shipping and Receiving Clerk to our Community-Meals-TRIO team in New Haven, CT. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you are responsible for verifying, keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Determining method of shipment
  • Prepare shipping labels
  • Receive incoming shipments
  • Verify the information against invoices and orders
What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

  • Have the ability to handle multiple tasks using time and task management skills. 
  • Have excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions accurately.  
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team. 

Nice-to-haves:

  • 1 year of related experience and/or training 
Compensation Range

$18.00/hr.
