Position Summary
This position is On-Site and not remote based.
The Marketing Specialist for Abrazo Health in Phoenix, AZ and Carondelet Health in Tucson, AZ will play an important role in Tenet's continued transformation into a consumer-focused organization. This position will assist in execute marketing plans that drive growth for their assigned hospital/market, drive community engagement, and effectively communicate "the stories" of how an assigned hospital is making a positive impact on the people it serves through its specialized service line offerings. The Specialist will report to the hospital Marketing Director and have strong day-to-day interactions with the field marketing team, communications team, home office marketing team, and hospital administration and clinical leaders. This position will help build trusting and collaborative relationships with internal and external teams and astutely represent the hospital in establishing and maintaining effective community engagement within the framework and vision of the Tenet Strategic Marketing Group, a component of the Tenet Operating System.
Responsibilities
  • Supports the Group Marketing Director and Marketing Managers in the execution of day-to-day marketing responsibilities that drive growth, consumer engagement, and patient retention. Supports team in driving executional excellence of marketing plan activation. Plans, implements, and measures all of the day-to-day marketing responsibilities such as; activation of marketing campaigns; coordination of events and seminars; highlighting positive stories across paid media, including socials. Seeks information and operates at a high level of independence by constantly inquiring about business priorities and key initiatives that can further differentiate the hospital within the market. Works to identify and translate the hospital service lines' "stories of success". Excels in the use of effective storytelling and utilizes advanced writing skills across multiple platforms (e.g. social media, website, collateral, newsletters, event remarks) to create engagement within the community, with key stakeholders and to entice usage among a targeted consumer base. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of hospital-based operations, service lines and physician relations. Supports the team in management and tracking of the hospital marketing budget. Effectively supports thought leadership of driving community engagement programs through partnership, events, and community programs. Drafts recaps and communicates regularly to marketing team regarding community program plans and results. Effectively engages with the community and key stakeholders for the purpose of building and enhancing the brand in the market place and translating the vision and mission of the hospital. Keen level of focus on measuring results of all in market activities. Analysis complex information to distill impact of marketing programs and conversions.
  • Create health-related content for website, social media, marketing literature, etc.
  • Research markets to develop and implement innovative approaches to improve community outreach efforts and event planning, and identify opportunities for additional events
  • Conduct post-event evaluation, including satisfaction surveys, data entry and analysis, and reports for event stakeholders. Continually enhance current events to increase participation and results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support marketing efforts.
  • Adheres to compliance, legal, regulatory and all company policies.

  • Minimum Requirements
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant major is required
    • Experience: 1 to 3 years of related marketing experience, field marketing experience preferred
