About the Job:

Desert Valley Hospice and Palliative Care is looking for a self-motivated, passionate, and outgoing Hospice Marketing Liaison to join our team! You will be the face of our company and an integral part of the sales team that promotes our expert hospice services and develops key business relationships to drive admissions and increase census.
At Desert Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, our mission is to honor life and provide compassionate, high-quality care that enhances the lives of individuals with life-limiting illnesses. We recognize that every team member has an important role in our efforts to maintain the highest of ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
  • The Hospice Marketing Liaison is responsible for increasing census and being a positive representative in the community.
  • Develop strong relationships with physicians and other healthcare leaders that will continue to increase our referral base for hospice services.
  • Proactively seek out members of the medical community and partners to promote Desert Valley Hospice as a preferred hospice provider.
  • Make regular phone calls to secure new referrals and meet goals on new and existing referring physicians, facilities, case managers, and social workers in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct initial meetings with patient and family members to provide information on Desert Valley Hospice’s focus on excellent patient care and family support.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Additional experience may be substituted for educational requirement.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
  • Skilled at developing/maintaining relationships in the community.
  • Proven ability to generate new referral accounts and maintain existing accounts by providing excellent community service.
