Position Summary

Provides administrative support for the A-Team (CEO, COO, CNO, and ACNO) and Hospital committees as assigned.


Position Qualifications:


  • Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Training: Successful completion of orientation and training with Palmetto General Hospital's procedures.
  • Experience: Four years of Executive Secretarial experience preferred in senior management setting.
  • Working Relationships: Good working relationship and communication skills with administrators, hospital staff, physicians, patients and visitors, corporate and regional entities. Dependable, able to work additional hours as needed to complete work. Able to function under pressure and with multiple deadlines.

  • Abilities and Skills: Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to interact effectively with personnel at a variety of levels in a professional, courteous, tactful manner. Ability to exercise good judgment and to organize and prioritize work load. Assertive, motivated. Maintain strict confidentiality. Perform duties under stress and with multiple deadlines. Remain flexible when priorities change. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Able to comprehend instructions, policies and procedures. Advance skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Manage executive's calendars and meeting set up. Take minutes during executive meetings.
