A Hospice New Grad RN needs a solid nursing education, active RN licensure, and foundational knowledge of end-of-life care practices. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, pain management protocols, and hospice-specific documentation is crucial. However, most hospice organizations offer structured orientation programs, mentorship, and ongoing training to help new graduates transition smoothly and build confidence in their role.
