A Hospice New Grad RN needs a solid nursing education, active RN licensure, and foundational knowledge of end-of-life care practices. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, pain management protocols, and hospice-specific documentation is crucial. Compassion, emotional resilience, and strong communication skills help new nurses provide comfort to patients and support to families during difficult times.
