Your Impact

As a 2nd Shift Machine Operator, you will be the driving force behind our production line, ensuring that every product meets our rigorous standards. Your daily contributions will be critical to our operational success and customer satisfaction.

• Master Machine Operation: Expertly set up, operate, and monitor cutting-edge machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules. You'll be reading blueprints, work orders, and production specifications to configure equipment precisely.
• Quality Champion: Perform rigorous in-process inspections and testing of products, utilizing precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality and identify any deviations from specifications. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures only top-quality items move forward.
• Continuous Improvement Driver: Actively participate in real-time analysis of production processes, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality. Your insights will help us innovate and evolve.
• Proactive Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery, performing minor adjustments and troubleshooting common mechanical issues to minimize downtime. You'll keep our operations running smoothly.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and production specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for performing routine machine adjustments and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Familiarity with data entry and basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like JD Edwards.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, which may include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and performing repetitive motions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
