Service Advisor - Tampa Honda

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring service needs are clearly understood and addressed.

  • Assess vehicle performance issues, verify warranty/service contract coverage, and develop accurate repair estimates.

  • Prepare and enter repair orders (RO) in the dealership system, obtain customer approvals, and maintain detailed customer records.

  • Communicate additional service and repair recommendations to customers based on inspections.

  • Administer manufacturer warranties for qualifying vehicle repairs.

  • Keep customers informed of service specials, completion times, and repair costs.


Qualifications

  • Former Service Advisor or technician experience is preferred.

  • Familiarity with CDK or other dealer management software is desirable.

  • Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Team player focused on delivering exemplary customer service.

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
