Job Summary
The Home Goods Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Home Goods department. This role leads and supports stocking, manages inventory levels, coordinates with vendors, and ensures merchandise is properly stocked and displayed according to company standards. The Home Goods Team Leader works closely with store management to support sales goals, maintain operational efficiency, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and support Home Goods Associates to ensure merchandise is efficiently stocked, organized, and properly displayed.
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are properly rotated and merchandise is kept fresh and in saleable condition.
  3. Partner with store management to improve product selection, merchandising, and department performance.
  4. Lead regular team meetings to communicate department goals, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Travel to and work at other store locations as needed.
  6. Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed.

  1. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
