We are hiring an IT Support Specialist II!

Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist II provides advanced technical support for corporate and onsite property staff. This role resolves more complex issues involving property management software, user accounts, office and field technology, connectivity, mobile devices, and related business systems to help leasing, maintenance, accounting, and corporate operations run smoothly.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related technical support experience.
  • Experience independently resolving hardware, software, user-access, and connectivity issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, computers, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common business applications.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive , or similar collaboration tools.
  • Experience managing user accounts, passwords, email access, permissions, shared drives, and group memberships.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking, including Wi‐Fi, internet connectivity, IP addressing, network printers, routers, switches, VPNs, and remote access.
  • Experience using an IT ticketing system and documenting issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, customer-service, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests, work independently, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users and handle confidential information professionally.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting a multi-site property management, real estate, construction, hospitality, retail, healthcare, or similarly distributed organization.
  • Experience with property management, leasing, resident portal, maintenance, work-order, accounting, or related business systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, endpoint-management tools, or mobile-device-management platforms.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based software and collaboration tools, including Google Workspace or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals, endpoint protection, patch management, multi-factor authentication, phishing prevention, and access-control practices.
  • Experience with GNU/Linux for servers, appliances, or troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Python, or another scripting language.
  • Experience coordinating technology vendors, internet providers, managed service providers, or software support teams.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications or equivalent practical experience may be substituted.
