About the Role
The Sr. Analyst, Digital Application Delivery (Sr. SAP MM Analyst P2P & Commodities) plays a pivotal role in driving the design and delivery of integrated technology solutions that meet business needs and enhance operational effectiveness at Primient. Building on deep functional and technical expertise-particularly in SAP and Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and commodity systems-this role leads the analysis, design, and implementation of process improvements and system enhancements across key business domains. The Sr. Analyst serves as a strategic thought partner to the business and a liaison to technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into scalable, value-adding solutions. In addition to hands-on delivery work, this role provides mentorship to analysts, supports cross-functional initiatives, and contributes to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices within ISIT.
Key responsibilities:
  • Lead End-to-End Solution Design: Guide the analysis, design, and implementation of SAP, commodities and procurement-related solutions that align with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Translate Business Needs into Scalable Solutions: Partner with functional leaders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment across IT and business domains.
  • Drive Integration Across Business Functions: Ensure seamless integration between SAP P2P processes and adjacent functional areas such as Finance, Order-to-Cash, Quality Management, and Supply Chain.
  • Oversee Requirements Management and Documentation: Lead the creation of detailed functional specifications, configuration documentation, testing protocols, and end-user training materials to ensure quality, consistency, and traceability.
  • Own Solution Configuration Strategy: Direct and oversee system configuration, ensuring compliance, scalability, and performance.
  • Lead and Mentor Analyst Teams: Provide direction, coaching, and subject matter expertise to Business Analysts and cross-functional teams to elevate analysis standards and execution quality.
  • Resolve Complex Issues and Drive Continuous Improvement: Serve as the escalation point for technical or functional issues; champion root cause analysis and develop preventive strategies for recurring issues.
  • Shape Innovation in Procurement & Commodities Technology: Stay current with SAP best practices and emerging procurement technologies; lead the evaluation and implementation of innovative solutions including commodity pricing models, risk management tools, and automation.
  • Partner on Project Delivery and Transformation Initiatives: Collaborate with delivery managers and project leads to ensure business analysis inputs support successful delivery across transformation and system enhancement efforts.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: Oversee testing, validation, and change control processes to ensure solution integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
  • Develop People and Teams: Provide leadership and mentoring across teams, fostering accountability, collaboration and growth across IT and business-facing teams.

Required and Preferred Education/Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (required)
  • SAP certification in Materials Management (MM), Procurement, or S/4HANA (preferred)
  • Project Management or Business Analysis certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP, or PMI-PBA)

Required and Preferred Work Experience
  • 8+ years of business analysis experience in enterprise IT environments (required)
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP Procurement / P2P or commodities systems configuration and implementation experience (required)
  • Proven leadership of functional workstreams or cross-functional project teams (required)
  • Experience delivering complex business process improvements and ERP solutions (required)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Incorta, or similar modern ERP/data platforms (preferred)
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions across Procurement and Supply Chain functions (required)

Total Rewards
The annual pay range estimated for this position is $95,931.20 - $119,914.00 and is bonus eligible.
Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
