Job description

Radiology / Cardiology / Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Dallas, Texas

Contract Duration: 6 Weeks

Compensation:

  • Travel Rate: $48โ€“$52/hour
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920โ€“$2,080 (based on experience)

Schedule:

  • Day Shift
  • Monday โ€“ Friday
  • 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
  • 40 Hours per Week
Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a busy outpatient cardiology and nuclear imaging clinic. The ideal candidate will have recent clinic-based nuclear medicine experience and be comfortable performing a high volume of cardiac nuclear studies and PET/CT stress testing procedures.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
  • CNMT Certification required upon hire or ARRT (N) Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine experience within the last 3 years
  • Outpatient or clinic-based Nuclear Medicine experience required

Daily Procedure Volume
  • 8โ€“10 Nuclear Stress Tests per day
  • Approximately 5 PET/CT Stress Tests per day
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac PET/CT procedures according to established protocols
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
  • Monitor patients throughout stress testing procedures
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care
