The ideal candidate will be adept at clearly explaining concepts and techniques to students of varying ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. A strong dedication to teaching and a sincere interest in supporting lifelong learning for individual students are essential. Excellent communication skills, responsiveness to emails, openness to new ideas, initiative, and a willingness to promote and market personal classes are required. The ability to teach multiple disciplines is advantageous. Experience teaching online is necessary, and proficiency with virtual meeting applications is mandatory. Candidates must have a modern computer equipped with a microphone and camera for live online instruction, be capable of recording lectures on video, and create course materials using Blackboard. If not already familiar with Blackboard, applicants should be willing to participate in training sessions.
